The average American consumes over 150 pounds of added sugar each year. This, along with regular consumption of processed flour and grains, can cause blood sugar swings which can affect our mood as well as our ability to lose weight. It can also affect our health. Excess sugar has been linked to many chronic health conditions including obesity, heart disease, cancer and diabetes. This 5 week long program is comprised of three distinct phases which help to eliminate sugar cravings without harsh detoxing side effects. Participants receive shopping lists, meal and snack suggestions, food samples and recipes. In addition, group support is provided at the weekly meetings and through a private Facebook Page.
